("GE Americom"), by its attorneys, hereby advises the Commission of the operational status of two recently launched satellites. The GE—7 spacecraft, launched on September 14, 2000, is fully operational as of October 25, 2000 at the 137° W.L. orbital location in accordance —_ with its authorization. See GE American Communications, Inc., DA 00—2096 (Sat. & — Radiocomm. Div. rel: Sept. 13, 2000). The GE—6 spacecraft, launched on October 21, 2000, is fully operational as of November 20, 2000 at the 72° W.L. orbital location in accordance with its authorization. See GE American Communications, Inc., DA 00— 2305 (Sat. & Radiocomm. Div. rel. Oct. 12, 2000). GE Americom is authorized to operate Satcom SN—4, which was replaced by GE—6, at 172° E.L. pursuant to special temporary authority. See File No. SAT—STA—20000906—00130. GE Americom currently plans to continue to operate Satcom SN—4 at that location for the remainder of the satellite‘s useful life, seeking extensions of the special temporary authority as necessary.
