Dear Ms. Dortch:

EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation (“EchoStar”) submits this supplemental letter to
clarify the technical information set forth in Table 9-1 of the Technical Annex of the
above-referenced application for authority to operate the EchoStar-1 (Call Sign S2943)
satellite as in-orbit spare at 77.25° W.L.

Specifically, EchoStar revises Table 9-1 by (i) specifying the maximum downlink EIRP
without reference to specific frequencies; and (ii) correcting a typographical error
regarding the uplink polarization, as follows:
