Dear Ms. Dortch:

       As required pursuant to paragraph 146 of the 17/24 GHz BSS Order,’ DIRECTV
Enterprises, LLC (“DIRECTV”) hereby notifies the Commission that it intends to
proceed with all five of its pending applications for 17/24 GHz BSS authorizations, and
amend them as necessary to conform to the new service and technical rules adopted by
the Commission. The specific applications (and related call signs) are:

    SAT-LOA-19970605-00049 (S2242), SAT-LOA-19970605-00050 (S2243),
    SAT-LOA-19970605-0005 1 (S2244),2 SAT-LOA-20060908-00099 (S271 l), and
    SAT-LOA-20060908-00100 (S2712).
