Re: Identification ofSatellites Co—Located with DIRECTV 78
File Nos. S4T—LO4—20030611—00115 et al, Call Sign $2455

 Dear Ms. Dortch

DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC, by itsattorneys, hereby provides the writien
statement discussed in paragraph 30 of the authorization for the above referenced
satellite. See DIRECTY Enterprises, LLC, 19 FCC Red. 7754 (In‘l Bur, 2004).
Specifically, that paragraph requires a written statement identifying satelltes that will be
located at the assigned orbital location of DIRECTV 78, oassigned in the vicinity of that
location such that the station—keeping volume ofthe respective satelltes might overlap,
and describing the measures that will be taken to prevent in—orbit collisions with such
 satelltes.
DIRECTV 78 is licensed to operate at 119.2° W.L., with # 0.05° longitudinal
station—keeping. DIRECTV is not aware of any other FCC— or non—FCC—licensed
spaceeraft that are operational or planned to be deployed at or near this orbital location
whose station—keeping volume would overlap that of DIRECTV 78.
To the extent another spacecraft might approach the assigned location of this
satellte in the future, DIRECTV would eoordinate directly with the operator of such
spaceeraft with respect to any actions that would be appropriate at such time to avoid any
 risk of collision.
