(Norris) — 5"/ ~ o— 53 —~ po8"~ Dear Mr. Hartke: This is in response to your letter of January 16, 1996 on behalf of Norris Satellite Communications, Inc. requesting an extension of time in which to respond to the information requested by the International Bureau relating to the status of the construction of the NorStar I and NorStar II satellites. See Letter from Chief, Satellite and Radiocommunication Division, International Bureau, to Counsel, Norris Satellite Communications, Inc. (December 11, 1995). In your January 16, 1996 letter you state that an additional 30 days is needed to prepare a response due to the unavailability of key individuals as well as a full trial calendar. Pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s Rules on delegated authority, your letter request of January 16, 1996 for an extension of time to respond to the International Bureau‘s requested information is granted. We believe that this is a reasonable request. Failure to respond to this request by February 16, 1996, will result in the cancellation of Norris‘s space station license, in accordance with Section 25.161(a) of our Rules, 47 C.F.R. § 25.161(a).
