(“DBSD”) hereby request an additional 180 days to consummate the transfers of control and assignments in the above- referenced proceedings. In addition to the multi-tiered reorganization described in the above-captioned applications, DISH will need to undertake a further reorganization to bring about the corporate efficiencies it seeks. DISH is in the process of finalizing its plans and the associated timeframes for this additional reorganization. Because the organizational structure described in the above-captioned applications will need to be in place under UK law for a period of 90 days before the further reorganization occurs, DISH seeks an extension to delay consummating the initial reorganization so that it will have the interim corporate structure in place for as short a time period as possible. The additional reorganization is not a part of the above-referenced applications because of the 90-day waiting period between the reorganizations. DISH will file the appropriate applications for the further reorganization at the appropriate time. The requested further extension will ultimately enable the efficiencies and other public interest benefits described in the above-captioned applications. It will also avoid the expense and burden on the Commission that would result from having to file new, identical pro forma applications.
