            AMENDMENT TO APPLICATION OF INTELSAT LICENSE LLC
                TO MODIFY AUTHORIZATION FOR INTELSAT 9

       Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”), pursuant to Section 25.116 of the rules of the Federal

Communications Commission (“Commission” or “FCC”), 47 C.F.R. § 25.116, hereby amends its

pending application to modify the authorization for Intelsat 9 (Call Sign S2380) to allow the

satellite to relocate to, and operate at, 29.5° W.L., to extend the license term, and to extend the

previously granted waiver, through July 31, 2019 (“Application”).1

       Specifically, Intelsat herein corrects the Coordination Statement and Certifications

section of the Engineering Statement, as well as frequencies in Exhibits 1 and 2 of the

Engineering Statement, and various sections of the Schedule S. The Coordination Statement and

Certifications section of the Engineering Statement now includes information on the Hispasat 1D

and Hispasat 1E satellites inadvertently omitted from the Application.2 In addition, the Ku-band

Brazil, Americas/Europe, and Mexico uplink beam frequencies3 and the Ku-band Brazil and

Mexico downlink beam frequencies4 have been updated in the Engineering Statement to

correctly reflect the frequencies on the spacecraft. Finally, the Schedule S has been amended to

correct mistakes in the frequencies identified in the sections on Operating Frequency Bands,

Receiving Beams, Transmitting Beams, Receiving Channels, and Transmitting Channels.

       For the Commission’s convenience, Intelsat supplies herewith a corrected Engineering

Statement and a corrected Schedule S. All other information in the Application is correct. In

accordance with the requirements of the Commission’s rules,5 this amendment has been filed

electronically as an attachment to FCC Form 312.

       Based on the foregoing, Intelsat respectfully requests that the Commission grant this

amendment application.
