IBFS File No. SAT-AMD-20161114-00107 (Call Sign S2946)

Dear Ms. Dortch:

By this letter, Spire Global, Inc. (“Spire”) provides notification to the Federal
Communications Commission that on July 15, 2018 four (4) LEMUR-2 satellites were
deployed into a 488 km x 477 km orbital altitude (51.6 deg) from the Cygnus resupply
spacecraft, which was launched on board the Orbital ATK Antares launch vehicle from
Wallops, Virginia.1

Spire has now deployed twenty-eight (28) of its twenty-eight (28) Phase IB and twelve (12)
of its seventy-two (72) Phase IC LEMUR-2 satellites, and those satellites are operating
consistent with Spire’s license authorization.2

Spire thanks the Commission for working tirelessly to help get the mission, which includes
Spire’s first ADS-B payloads for aviation monitoring,3 approved.
