                                               Dear Ms. Dortch:

                                                    . Intelsat North America LLC (Intelsat"), pursuant to
                                               Section 25.121(d) of the Commission‘s rules, 47 C.F.R. §
                                               25.121(d), hereby notifies the Commission that the Intelsat 15
                                               satellite (call sign $2789) was successfully placed into orbit at
                                               85.15° E.L. and became fully operational at that location as of
                                               January 16, 2010, in accordance w1th the terms of its FCC
                                              authorization. 1

                                                      In addition, Intelsat seeks a determination from the
                                              Commission that the last milestone for the Intelsat 15 satellite,
                                              requiring launch and operation of the satellite, has been satisfied.
                                              Intelsat respectfully requests that the Commission issue the
                                              requested determination no later than January 24, 2010 so that
