Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Notice of Ex Parte Meeting See File Nos. listed in the attached Exhibit A Dear Ms. Dortch: In connection with the 17/24 GHz BSS applications listed in the attached Exhibit A, Stacy Fuller and Bill Wiltshire on behalf of DIRECTV Enterprises LLC (“DIRECTV”), Susan Crandall on behalf of Intelsat North America LLC (“Intelsat”), and Tony Lin on behalf of Pegasus Development DBS Corporation (“Pegasus” and together with DIRECTV and Intelsat, the “Parties”) met on September 9,2008 with Lisa Cacciatore, Stephen Duall, Chip Fleming, Diane Garfield, Andrea Kelly, Kal Krautkramer, Kathyrn Medley, Robert Nelson, and Alyssa Roberts, all of the International Bureau (“Bureau”). The Parties stated that they intended to file one or more applications with the Bureau to rationalize the licensing of their pending 17/24 GHz BSS applications at certain orbital locations and maximize the operational capabilities of the proposed systems at those locations. The Parties asked the Bureau to clarify in the context of the application(s) to be filed that the FCC’s rules would not require a licensee to post or maintain more than a single $3 million bond for its 17/24 GHz BSS satellite system at any one orbital location. www.pillsburylaw.com
