Dear Mr. Tyer: On betulf of Lockheed Martin Corporation ("Lockheed Martin"), we are hercby requesting a one—week extension oftime in order to respond to your October8, 2004 leterin which you requested aditonl information concerming the tracking, telemetry and control ("TT&C®) stations and operations for the above—referenced satelites. A brief extension ofthe current deadlie is appropriate undertcircurnstances set forth below. Lockheed Martin has been asked to provide TT&C information with respect o three RNSS satllites no later than October 22, 2004,just one week from today and two weeks from the date of the ltter. This abbreviated respons period representsa very ighttimeframe within which to prepare a sufficient respons. Unfortunately, duringthis brief window, Lockheed Martin‘s senior director of regulatory affairs, lead program engineer and principal outside regulatory counsel will also be away from their offices foallorpart of the time, and will not be fully available to assitin the preparation of the necessary response. Forthese reasons, Lockheed Martin respectfully requests an additional week, (hrough and including Friday, October 29, 2004, within which to submit ts answers to the questions posed in the October 8 ettr. This brief extension is appropriate in order to permit the company adequate ime to prepare a complete response to the FCC‘ inguines.
