                      Eile Nos. SAT—AMD—20030730—00149 et al.

      Dear Ms. Dortch:

            PanAmSat Corporation ("PanAmSat") hereby withdraws its Comments‘ on the
      above—referenced amendment (‘Amendment") filed byLockheed Martin Corporation
      (Lockheed Martin}
              At the time that PanAmSat filed its Comments, Lockheed Martin had proposed
      in its Amendment to locate one of its space stations at 125° W.L. instead of 129° W.L2
      PanAmSat did not object to this proposed relocation, but used its comments to draw
      the Commission‘s attention to the need for coordination between Lockkheed Martin
      and PanAmSat, which already operates a satellite at 125° W.L.3
             Lockheed Martin has since amended its application further to request an orbital
      location of 133° W.L. and to propose using the same bus for its payload as the bus to
      be used by PanAmSat‘s Galaxy 15 satellite at 133° W.LA Because this subsequent
