Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") hereby notifies the Commission that it has successfully de—orbited its
Intelsat 702 satellite. De—orbit was completed on September 22, 2016. The final measured orbit of the
Intelsat 702 satellite is 376.5 km above the geostationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of 370 km and
383 km above the arc, respectively. In the course of de—orbiting the satellite, Intelsat depleted the
propellant tanks, discharged the batteries, disconnected the power from the bus, and shut off the
transmitters.
