Tycz, Chief of the International Bureau‘s Satellite Division, to discuss matters pertaining to NGST"s above—referenced application. The application proceeding was previously redesignated as "permit but disclose" for purposes of the ex parte rules. See Public Notice Report No. SAT—00012 (rel. March 16, 1999). Mr. Hadinger addressed the status of the licensing proceeding and related matters pertaining to the pre—grant and post—grant processing of the application. The participants also discussed the technical and regulatory implications of a potential amendment to change the orbits used by the proposed system‘s satellites. Pursuant to Section 1.1206(b) of the Commission‘s Rules, 47 C.F.R.§ 1.1206(b), the original and one copy of this letter are submitted for inclusion in the file of the above— referenced proceeding.
