Dear Ms. Dortch:

Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") hereby notifies the Commission that it has
successfully de—orbited its Intelsat 707 satellite. The de—orbiting was
completed on January 16, 2013. The final measured orbit of the Intelsat 707
satellite is 499 km above the geostationary arc, with an apogee and perigee of
750 km and 245 km above the arc, respectively. In the course of de—orbiting
the satellite, Intelsat depleted the propellant tanks, discharged the batteries,
disconnected the power from the bus, and shut off the transmitters.
