At that time, it was expected that grant of permmanent authority would be forthcoming in a matterof weeks; however, to date, TUPR has not been notified of such authority. TUPRrequested an extension ofthat STA on April 9, 1999, on October 4, 1999, and on April 4, 2000. TUPR now requests an additional extension of the STA, because TUPR has not yet been notified of grant of permanent authority. The need remains for TUPR to provide its customer service over the identified route. For this reason, pursuant to Section 63.04 of the Commission‘s rules, TUPR respectfully requests Commussion extension of the previously granted operating authority until the Commission‘s order granting the Section 214 authority becomes final. THIS IS A NON FEEABLE REQUEST BECAUSE A MAJORITY OF TUPR‘S STOCK IS OWNED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF PUERTO RICO. See 47 C.F.R. § 1.1162(b). Sincerely yours, «SimaKz Tina M.
