File No. ITC—214—20000317—00144 Dear Ms. Dortch: This letter is submitted to the Commission pursuant to 47 CFR 63.24(e)(4) to notify the Commission of the consummation of the transaction underlying the above—referenced applications for authority to transfer Domestic and International Section 214 Authorizations. An application for authority to transfer control of Domestic Section 214 Authority of Elsie Communications, Inc. and Dalton Telephone Company, Inc., to Newcastle Holdings, Inc., was filed on January 4, 2006. The application was accepted for streamlined treatment and docketed in WC Docket No. 06—13, see Public Notice DA 06—75 (rel. Jan. 17, 2006), and was granted on February 17, 2006, see Public Notice DA 06—380 (rel. Feb. 17, 2006). International Section 214 Authority ITC—214—20000317—00144 was granted on April 12, 2000, to Elsie Communications, Inc., see Public Notice DA 00—846, Report No. TEL— 00216 (rel. Apr. 13, 2000). An application to transfer control of the Authority from Elsie Communications, Inc., to Newcastle Holdings, Inc., was accepted for streamlined treatment in Public Notice Report No. TEL—010058 (rel. Mar. 10, 2006), and granted on March 24, 2006, see Public Notice DA 06—700, Report No. TEL—01010, ITC—T/C—20060302—00133—E (rel. Mar. 30, 2006).
