The addition of the new partner will result in a stronger financial position from which to continue to providing quality service options to customers of IDS Telcom. Service will be provided by the partfiérship, and IDS Long Distance, Inc. will no longer operate as a certificated _carrier, and therefore seeks assignment ofits license to IDS Telcom.

Conclusion IDS Telcom requests streamlined processing of this application pursuant to Section 63.12. In support of this request, IDS Telcom states that it is not affiliated with a foreign carrier in a _destination market, is not affiliated with a dominant U.S. carrier whose international switched or private line services it plans to resell, nor does it seek authority to provide switchedbasic services over private lines to a country for which the Commission has not previously authorized the provision of switched services over private lines. As demonstrated in this application, IDS Telcom is legally qualified to receive assignment of IDS Long Distance, Inc.‘s license. For the reasons stated above, the applicants submit that the public interest, convenience and necessity would be furthered by a grant of this Section 214 request for transfer of control.
