Attachment Transtelco, Inc. Form 214STA July 2015 Request for Extension of Special Temporary Authority By this application, Transtelco, Inc. (“Transtelco”) seeks extension for a period of 180 days of its current Special Temporary Authority (“STA”), granted January 30, 2015 in FCC File No. ITC-STA-20150112-00010, which permits it to continue existing operations under its Section 214 authorization with an ownership structure not previously approved by the Commission. The current STA was granted in connection with the filing of an application requesting FCC approval of two transactions (pro forma and material transfers of control), which resulted in the ownership stake of Transtelco’s original control group being diluted to approximately 46%. See File No. ITC-T/C-20150112-00008. The original shareholders and officers, however, have remained in day-to-day operational control of the company at all times. An additional STA is required at this time because the underlying application remains subject to a hold requested by the Department of Justice pursuant to the Team Telecom review process. All pertinent information concerning the STA request is contained in the referenced initial STA application and the underlying transfer of control application.
