VIZADA SERVICES LLC: REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY VIZADA Services LLC ("VIZADA") hereby requests a 60—day extension of the special temporary authority ("STA") it has been granted to offer Inmarsat‘s Broadband Global Area Network ("BGAN®") service. Grant of the requested extension will serve the public interest by permitting VIZADA to provide continuity of service to customers pending action on its underlying applications for regular authority for BGAN operations. In October 2005, VIZADA (under its former name, FTMSC US, LLC) filed applications seeking international Section 214 authority and an earth station blanket license to operate up to 20,000 terminals communicating with Inmarsat‘s next—generation spacecraft to provide BGAN services. See File Nos. ITC—214—20051012—00406 & ITC—AMD—20060804— 00388 and SES—LFS—20051011—01396; SES—AMD—20051118—01602; SES—AMD—20060605— 00926; & SES—AMD—20060804—01315, Call Sign EO50284. VIZADA subsequently filed requests for special temporary authority to allow it to commence offering service while the underlying applications were being processed. The initial STA requests were granted in May 2006. See File Nos. SES—STA—20060314—00438 and ITC—STA—20060314—00158 (both granted May 12, 2006). In order to provide service continuity, VIZADA has requestedextension of its STAs every 60 days, most recently in File Nos. SES—STA—20080213—00157 and ITC—STA— 20080213—00059. By this application, VIZADA seeks a further extension of the STAs for the 60— day period commencing April 19, 2008. In support of this request, VIZADA hereby incorporates by reference the information provided in its applications for regular BGANservice authority as amended, its prior STA requests, and its pleadings in those proceedings. VIZADA agrees to continue to operate subject to the terms and conditions containedin the original STA grants issued on May 12, 2006.
