(2) The Application mentions, among assets to be transferred, "DWDM networks in Texas and certain adjoining states." These fiber optic networks utilize dense wavelength division multiplexing ("DWDM") technology. DWDM systems support multiple wavelengths per fiber strand and, thereby, facilitate delivery of high capacity fiber optic data transmission services. DCO1/13RANW/433212.2
