(ASTAC LD) and Arctic Slope Telephone Association Cooperative, Inc. (ASTAC), this message provides additional information regarding the above—referenced pro forma assignment of the International 214 Authorization from ASTAC LD to ASTAC. ASTAC LD is a wholly—owned subsidiary of ASTAC. The assignment took place through an intercompany assignment of the authorization. ASTAC LD, however, will continue to provide the international services authorized by the International 214. No customer accounts or contracts were assigned as part of transaction. ASTAC LD and ASTAC have filed a letter with the FCC notifying the Commission that ASTAC LD is continuing to provide the international service. A copyof the letter is attachedfor your convenience.
