Re: Plivo Inc., Application for International Section 214 Authorization
                              IBFS File No. ITC-214-20180302-00042

Dear Ms. Dortch:

The Departments of Justice, Homeland Security and Defense (collectively, the Agencies),
write to inform the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that the Agencies are no longer
reviewing the above-captioned application for national security and law enforcement concerns.
Plivo Inc., (Plivo) has missed four deadlines to respond to the Department of Justice’s (DOJ)
requests for information and has asked that its application be dismissed without prejudice.
Specifically:

 Plivo missed a March 19, 2019 deadline; DOJ agreed to an extension through April 1.
 Plivo missed a May 17, 2019 deadline; DOJ agreed to an extension through May 27.
 Plivo missed a May 27, 2019 deadline; DOJ agreed to an extension through June 7.
         Plivo missed a June 7, 2019 deadline.

On June 7, 2019, Plivo’s representative informed DOJ that Plivo had not provided the
requested information by the requested deadline and requested that Plivo’s application be
dismissed without prejudice. As a result, the Agencies are returning the application to the FCC.

                                                            Respectfully submitted,

                                                            LOYAAN A. EGAL
