We forwarded the applicationto the Executive Branch agencies on January 23, 2014. On January 31, 2014, the Commission notified you that the application was removed from streamlined processing pending Executive Branch review. We understand that you have been contacted by the Executive Branch in regards to negotiating a Letter of Assurances (LOA). On Tuesday, September 2, 2014 the Executive Branch notified us that they had not received a response to their proposed revisions to the LOA sent on August 8, 2014 Please inform us no later than September 18, 2014, of the status of LOA negotiations and, in particular, confirm that contact with the Executive Branch has been made and the date of that contact.
