(ITC-214-20091201-00520); International Section 214 Authorization Surrender Dear Ms. Dortch: Alrus Telecom, Inc. (“Alrus”), by counsel, hereby surrenders its International Section 214 Authorization granted in IB File No. ITC-214-20091201-00520 (“International 214 Authority”) effective immediately. Alrus has not provided telecommunications service since 2015 and, therefore, does not provide any U.S. international services that require Section 214 authority. Because Alrus has no customers, it believes it is not subject to the customer notification requirements in Section 63.19 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 63.19. Alrus believes surrender of its International 214 Authority is in the public interest because Alrus does not provide a service that requires Section 214 authority and because surrendering its International 214 Authority will allow the Commission to concentrate its resources on carriers that require 214 authorization and oversight. Therefore, Alrus respectfully submits that the surrender of its International 214 Authorization is reasonable and will not harm the public interest.
