Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: GTT Americas, LLC Surrender of International Section 214 Authorization Dear Ms. Dortch: GTT Americas, LLC (“GTT Americas”), by its attorney, hereby notifies the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission”) that GTT Americas is surrendering, effective immediately, one of its two international Section 214 authorizations. GTT Americas holds global or limited global facilities-based and resale international Section 214 authority granted August 9, 2002 in file number ITC-214-20020619- 00332. As the result of a pro forma merger, effective January 22, 2019, in which it acquired the assets of its commonly owned affiliate, Hibernia Atlantic U.S. LLC (“Hibernia Atlantic”),1 GTT Americas now also holds the international 214 authority previously held by Hibernia Atlantic pursuant to file number ITC-214-20090612-00283. GTT Americas has no use for a second duplicative international Section 214 authority and is therefore surrendering the authorization obtained from Hibernia Atlantic. Because GTT Americas retains its own international 214 authorization to provide continuity of operations, no customer is impacted by, or needs to be notified of, the surrender of the extra Section 214 authorization. Accordingly, there is no customer notification is attached to this letter. 1 Notice of the pro forma merger was timely submitted to the Commission on February 19, 2019.
