Washington, DC 20554 Re: File Number IMMMMMB- Withdrawal of Application of Southwestern Bell Communications Services, Inc. d/b/a Southwestern Bell Long Distancefor International 214 Authority Dear Ms. RomanSalas: Southwestern Bell Communications Services, Inc. d/b/a Southwestern Bell Long Distance ("SBCS"), byits counsel, hereby withdraws the above—captioned application for international 214 authority between all international points and the state of Missouri (the "SBCS Missouri International 214 Application"). SBCS filed the SBCS Missouri International 214 Application on May 4, 2001, and the International Bureau acceptedit for filing and placed it on public notice on May 14, 2001. See Public Notice, Non— Streamlined International Application Acceptedfor Filing, Section 214 Application, DA 01—1208 (rel. May 14, 2001). SBCS filed the SBCS Missouri International 214 Application in conjunction with the joint application of SBC Communications, Inc., Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and SBCS (collectively "SWBT") for provision of in—region, interLATA services in Missouri under Section 271 of the Act, filed on April 4, 2001 (the "SWBT Missouri 271 Application"). On June 7, 2001, SWBT withdrew the SWBT Missouri 271 Application. Consistent with that action and because of the interrelationship of the applications, SBCS hereby withdraws the SBCS Missouri International 214 Application.
