Globalinx is a new U.S. company organized toprovide a variety of domestic and international telecommunications services on a resale basis. Globalinx has no foreign affiliations. Globalinx intends to resell its services to other providers serving business and residential customers throughout the United States. By granting this application, the Commission will serve the public interest, convenience and necessity by promoting competition in the international services market. Competition will benefit U.S. consumers by increasing service options and lowering prices. Thus, the public interest will be served by grant of Section 214 authority to Glob alinx.
