Selex provides international long distance service on a wholesale basis to the cellular carrier, who in turn, provides international long distance on a retail basis to its customers. These calls will typically be routed through the United States. The company seeks authority to resell international telecommunications services to better serve its customers by offering a full range of call termination options. By providing international calling services Selex will be able to offer its customers valuable service at competitive rates.

International telecommunications services will be obtained by Selex from other com mor carriers who are currently autho: ized by the Commission to provid:: internationa| service. Initally. Selex will only resell internatio: ial s witched services. However, S slex reqi ests authority to 1 :sell private line service in the futur: as sontemplated under Section €3.18 (e) (2) : ind subject to the restrictions imposed therein. The provision of interna ion: l service by Selex will not have any sij mifi:ant imp; ct 0i the general provision of such service to the public.
