("FON" "Applicant"), by its attorney, hereby respectfully requests io0rity from the Federal Communications Commission ("Commission" muirsuant to Section 214 of the Communications Act of 1934, as anded (the "Act"), and Section 63.18 of the Commission‘s _R #,°=to provide global international facilities—based and res services between the United States and international points. In accordance with the Commission‘s fee schedule, Fee Code CUT, FON Digital Network, Inc. has attached a check in the amount of $780.00 to this Application. FON Digital Network, Inc. was incorporated in 1998 and intends to provide domestic and international telecommunications services throughout the United States.

By granting this application, the Commission will serve the public interest, convenience and necessity by promoting competition in the international services market. Competition will benefit US consumers by increasing service options and lowering prices. Thus, the public interest will be served by the grant of Section 214 authority to FON Digital Network, Inc.
