In port of this request, the following information is submitted required by Section 63 .18 : w4 was previously granted limited ilon 214 authority to provide international switched service between the United States and various international locations under the corporate name of Arrowlink, Inc. Arrowlink, Inc., changed its corporate name to W4 Communications Corp. on November 13, 1998 . Its ownership and corporate structure, other than the new name of the corporation, remains the same. The Commission‘s approval for the Arrowlink,

Inc., Section 214 authority is contai in FCC File No. I—T—C—95—154. Aside from the new name, seeks to expand its existing authority to the extent provided Sections 63.18(e) (1) and 63.18(e) (2) of the Commission‘s rules. w4 submits that grant of the instanm »plication is in the public interest. W4 believes the mar for international telecommunications business services has ential for continued growth, and that additional competition m new entrants will promote this expansion. The Commission he reviously determined that increased competition in internationa: rkets is feasible and desirable. Certification of W4 as a global int ational carrier will also benefit existing and potential con irs of international telecommunications services in the United tes. W4‘s entry into the international telecommunications ma tplace will promote competitive pricing and increased availabi y of service options.
