Methods of fabricating hollow concavo-convex shapes from a flat blank by pleating and then forming the blank. The pleated, rolled blank is not placed in a die cavity. It is only expanded into a spherical shape. Liquid-gas separator screens produced by the forming methods in such manner that a predetermined screen pore size is maintained whereby the screens exhibit a meniscus liquid gas separating action under a normal pressure drop across the screens.
