INTRODUCTION 1. Frontier Communications Corporation (Frontier) and Verizon Communications Inc. (Verizon) (together, Applicants) filed a series of applications 1 pursuant to sections 214 and 310(d) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (Act), seeking consent to various assignments and the transfer of control of licenses and authorizations held by Verizon’s wholly-owned subsidiaries in California, Florida, and Texas to Frontier. 2.
