Washington, DC 20554 Re: TheCW Network, LLC — Request for Special Temporary Authority to Deliver Programs to Foreign Broadcast Station _ Dear Ms. Dortch: On July 9, 2008, The CW Network, LLC ("The CW") filed a request via the Commission‘s lockboxin St. Louis, Missouri for special temporary authority ("STA") in order to deliver its widely—viewed television programs electronically to XETV(TY and —DTF), Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico for broadcast into the United States beginning on August L. 2008 (the "July 9 STA Request"). By return correspondence, the Commission informed counsel for The CW that no fee was necessary associated with the July STA Request. Accordingly, by this letter, the July 9 STA Request is being officially re—filed with the Office of the Commission‘s Secretary in Washington, DC. It should benoted that members ofthe Commission‘s International Burgau staff familiar with the July 9 STA Request (and the underlying application on ECC Form 308 for a five—year permit to deliver CW programming to XETV {FCC File No. 325—NEW—20080703—00004)) were provided with courtesy copies of the original July 9 STA Request via e—mail on thedate thatit was first filed at the Commission. Attached is a copy of the July 9 STA Request as was originally filed at the Commission‘s lockbox in St. Louis.
