Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We need to deploy our product for field trials to gather additional test and performance data while we pursue FCC registration. Xeralux is an early startup and hired me to coordinate the compliance and regulation of their products. Field trials are expected to begin this week and wish to have legal coverage before doing so.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Our modules are integrated into commercial SSL products, coupled with sensors. As the sensors feedback information to the processor, we then relay the information via 802.11 a/b/g/n to a gateway providing real time feedback of the environment to the user. The sensors also control the lighting function based on sensor input, configured by the user.
