We require an STA to perform short term integration and demonstration of technology under development by the University of Washington. Integration and testing with our equipment is outside University of Washington’s normal research license area and is limited in duration.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Development of community cellular networks for low resource regions. We would like to run a network test bed at low power (<10 watts) in the GSM-900 frequency band to maintain and validate compatibility with available commercial GSM user equipment. Our research explores new community management schemes for low cost GSM-GRPS cellular networks. This operation allows us to integrate our software defined radio technology with a deployment partners hardware and demonstrate our system to a potential funding NGO in February.
