Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
ViaSat designs and manufactures satellite communications antennas. A customer desires to conduct a factory acceptance test that involves transmitting at specific frequencies for which ViaSat does not currently hold a license. Approval of this STA will allow ViaSat to perform timely acceptance testing on a satellite communications system referred to as the RF Terminal (RFT).
