Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The operation is to perform ground testing of the communications link for a nanosatellite. The communications testing will involve an uplink and downlink from our flight radio to an Ettus Research USRP-based ground station 1.33 miles apart. This will simulate the ground to space radio environment. We will also perform radiation pattern measurements of our flight radio antenna.
