Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Demonstration of the QuicLINK mobile radio. QuicLINK provides WCDMA radio access and core network functionality in a single integrated system. A QuicLINK system supports circuit-switched voice/video UE-to-UE, UE-to-PSTN, and PSTN-to-UE calls, as well as packet-switched data calls. In addition, a QuicLINK system is capable of stand-alone operation where it provides UE-to-UE calls within its radio coverage area. QuicLINK is specifically designed for deployable, mobile units, e.g., dipolmatic security and protection operations. Technical Development Branch wishes to demonstrate this functionality to internal customers.
