The specific frequencies being requested are based on available hardware from previous programs and tests. A previous STA was granted under WH9XRQ, File 0650-EX-ST-2014. That STA has expired.

The end result is achieve a simple, inexpensive design that can be used for educational and SAR demonstration purposes. As a SAR system, the radar must transmit while moving a distance to achieve the synthetic aperture. For this test the radar will move along a short rail system located on a building while looking downward.
