Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purpose of this STA is to conduct ground Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing of RF systems integrated into the Boeing MH-139 helicopter prior to delivery to the USAF. Modeling and previous EMC/EMI testing shows a possibility of harmonic/cosite interference issues between RF systems on the specific frequencies listed in the application. This testing will be used to validate findings and develop mitigation plans.
