These frequencies are requested to support Boeing KC-46A EMD program. The KC-46A is the next generation multi-role Tanker offering improved aerial refueling capability, strategic military transport, medevac, and enhanced survivability. This requirement supports flight and ground tests of the aerial refueling system including drogue control law development, performance evaluation and customer demonstration flight operations.
