Special Temporary Authority application - Initial values - Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:
This requirement supports the development of the Viasat KuKarray antenna system over the air test communicating with Inmarsat-5 F2 and will be conducted in Greenville TX. Boeing is requesting to transmit Earth-to-Space on 30.25 GHz, and 20.25 GHz Space-to-Earth allocation is also requested to allow the downlink signal from Inmarsat Satellite to the terminal at the Greenville TX location. Boeing plans to use I5-F2’s cross-strap channel capability to route the Mil-Ka uplink test carrier into the gateway downlink which is in the commercial Ka-band (licensed under FCC call sign E120072). The Inmarsat ground station for this I5-F2 gateway link is located at their Lino, Lakes, MN teleport.
