Boeing requests a 180-day extension of its existing STA (File No. 0270-EX-ST-2001) in order to continue to conduct field tests and operational evaluations of its 873-element phased-array antenna pending consideration of its underlying application for an experimental license (File No. 0145-EX-PL-2001). Without such an extension, Boeing's existing STA will expire on November 13, 2001.
