The purpose is to demonstrate the IMASTER synthetic aperture radar capabilities as part of an overall demonstration and evaluation of a new multi-mission aircraft. The aircraft will fly and operate the I-Master radar between 5 and 17 thousand feet around the requested locations. The radar antenna is mounted on the aircraft and the radiation beam is tightly steerable to focus on specific points on the ground to mitigate unwanted radiation in sensitive directions. The radar will be used to image the ground during events.
