Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
New experimental in 14-14.5 GHz to demonstrate Satcom-on-the-move. We are looking to extend this license for only 60-90 days in order to file for a perm license. In addition, this license was recently transferred from SWE-DISH/DataPath to Rockwell Collins due to an acquisition. SWE-DISH manufactures state-of-the-art transportable and SOTM terminals. STA will permit SWE-DISH to conduct demonstrations of a circular, prime-focus SOTM terminal for military and government officials.
