Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA requests backup frequencies 2224.5 MHz for stage 1 and 2240 MHz for stage 2 for launch vehicle communications on the SpaceX Falcon Heavy RST mission, launching from LC-39a Kennedy Space Center. The application includes a sub-orbital first stage and orbital second stage. Trajectory data will be provided directly to NTIA, USAF, and NASA. All downrange Earth stations are receive-only. Launch operations are pre-coordinated with the Range.
