Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA is necessary to add the additional frequency 2287.5 MHz to stage 2 for launch vehicle communications on the SpaceX Falcon Heavy RST Mission, launching from Complex 39a, Kennedy Space Center. Trajectory data will be provided directly to NTIA, USAF, and NASA. All downrange Earth stations are receive-only. Launch operations are pre-coordinated with the Range.
