Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We are in the process of developing a new statewide VHF system. Motorola only recently identified the frequencies they woudl be using for the intial 5 sites, and we need temporary operating authority while we apply for permanent licenses. This is going to be a 5 site test period for the eventual rollout of 35 sites. These frequencies will be used by public safety personnel only.
