Soar Technology, Inc. is evaluating emerging MANET / MIMO microwave technologies with relation to propagation, data throughput, vehicle integration and impact to present documentation for application for governmental contracts. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in the Ann Arbor area, coupled with the added congestion from traditional Television and News coverage of area events, Soar Technology, Inc., requests the use of this channel.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Grant of the instant request for STA for the 2.2GHz band would serve the public interest by enabling Soar Technology, Inc., to evaluate the required remote networking coverage for this experiment. The proposed service would enhance the experiment by providing on the spot networking from mobile locations that would not otherwise be available to the engineering team. Additionally, the proposed service would enable a demonstration of the Streamcaster SC4200 transceiver / antenna array in a terrestrial/aerial exercise.
